What problems do we treat?
people may suffer psychological problems at some point in their
lives, usually at times of stress or in reaction to particular life
events. Often these problems naturally resolve with the passage
of time or through confiding with a close relative or family friend.
For some, however, the problems do not improve, but may even worsen
and such symptoms of psychological distress persist, causing notable
disruption to people’s lives in respect to their relationships,
work and general everyday level of functioning. In such circumstances
treatment is usually required.
